The biggest challenge about living at a hospital for a month or so is the head game. For me it’s about creating routine, being kind to everyone, getting exercise, doing “normal” things, being creative, and staying in the moment. Many of you know I love to dance. So here is a short snippet of some salsa dancing with my IV pole who I have christened “Ralph.” Ralph boasts multiple box pumps for IV infusions to take place simultaneously. He also never mansplains anything and due to his wheely dance shoes, he can both lead and follow. I will call this video my first verifiable pole dance.
